missingWrote a review on 17 Octoverwhelming smell
The smell upon entering was overwhelming, leaving a lot to be desired about the overall cleanliness. The 1970s wallpaper peeled off in places, indicating a serious need for updates. Both the mattresses and pillows felt worn out, lacking the necessary comfort for a good night's sleep, while the towels appeared dirty and uncomfortable. Additionally, the lack of simple amenities like trash bags in the room felt like a miss.

The hotel had a nice pool that was great for relaxing, and I loved that they provided extra towels when I asked. I enjoyed lounging by the pool and taking a dip to cool off. On the downside, the wait for my room felt a bit too long, but overall, it was a pleasant stay! 👍

Family with children’s unplanned adventure
We got a king suite, and I was blown away by how spacious it was! The beds were HUGE and the two TVs were a bonus for the kids. Had a microwave and fridge too, made things super easy for us.
It wasn't exactly a bargain, but still pretty acceptable.

The location was great for visiting the Houston Zoo, and we enjoyed the beautiful outdoor areas. The amenities were nice, and we appreciated the fridge in the room. Just a heads-up, breakfast options were limited, but we found it easy to grab snacks nearby.
One downside was the pool cleanliness. We noticed it needed better maintenance, which was a bit disappointing during our stay.

Disappointing Experience and Unfulfilled Promises
Despite great expectations, my stay fell short. The staff's lack of engagement cast a shadow over the visit. The breakfast options were minimal, missing basics like decaf coffee. Consider dining outside for better meals, and check room amenities beforehand for a smoother stay.
